FRENCH VOICE CALL July 2025:
We are looking for TWO adult females aged 35+…and FOUR children, 2 girls and 2 boys aged 7-9, who are outgoing and fluent in French. Perhaps you know a female teacher who speaks French fluently..or a family with a young child who speaks fluent French. All six voices will have an opportunity to narrate a series of short lines in an upcoming French Education Series being produced in cooperation with 2 Canadian Universities. These short ‘audio narrations’ will be used in upcoming courses as Teaching Aids in the field of Childhood Education. If you know a French Voice Actor who meets our above age and gender criteria and who can travel to West Hants for an afternoon of fun voice-acting to be recorded in French, please have them contact David Bannerman at MediaVoice. Compensation rates of payment will be ‘above-market value’ for all 6 French voices. Each of the recording sessions will take place in a fun and relaxed environment with an expected length of 1 to 2.5 hours. This Voice call for 2 Adult French speaking women and 4 young French speaking children closes July 18th/25. Recording sessions will be scheduled with the successful applicants over the next month into August. NOTE: Each of the 4 children selected for this project, must be accompanied to the studio recording session in West Hants with their Mother or Father or a Legal Guardian. Thank you..Merci ! **NOTE : All communication by phone or email for new voices under 18 years of age must be initiated by an adult parent or legal guardian. This applies also to studio recording sessions. All Voice Talent under the age of 18 must be accompanied to any recording session at our Newport studio by a parent or legal guardian.
Aside from the Voice Calls above… any Potential New Voice Talents at any time can request a demo script that we will send you so you can record into any microphone connected to your PC, Mac or even on your Smartphone from your home. Your microphone’s quality is probably not equal to our professional studio mics, but that’s ok. A ‘first-time’ voice sample from your home is simply used so we can hear you performing a script. If your audition shows promise and you wish to record again, we will invite you to an in-studio recording audition session using a portion of some of our many scripts. This would take place in our MediaVoice Studio, which is located in West Hants. There is a very low studio charge of $100 to record a short basic voice-over Demo. This low fee covers the recording time only and the subsequent editing and production time to finish a basic first VO demo. Feel free to look at other studios producing Voice demos, and you’ll see that our fee for demo recording is extremely low. In fact, I think we’re crazy to offer this service at that price. The thing is.. and we’re probably very lucky…very few people read this far down the page. Ha Ha!
